Choosing the "right" initial target for the cinema project
Movie theater production and legislation is a big thing to tackle during the project. I find it very difficult to do so in a very broad way, so I believe choosing the right initial target is as important. To me this just means an audience that I find the easiest to understand, so I have chosen Mexico, (Also because it is currently ranked 4th with the most visits).
Ive done a bit of research so far, mostly pulling cinema data from the statistical yearbook of mexican cinema 2025 (its a big PDF so make sure you have good connection), provided by IMCINE and all its collaborators, a lot of data coming from comscore, which i found out is how many cinemas report to provide box office data. This is also super interesting, compiling the many mediums the Mexican population employs to keep the movie theater entertainment alive.
